doc2Gary Feldman, DPM, FACFAS

Gary Feldman, DPM, FACFAS is a board certified foot and ankle podiatrist. Originally from Potomac, Dr. Feldman received his undergraduate degree in 1990 from the University of Maryland. He then attended the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. Following completion in 1995, Dr. Feldman received advanced surgical training at St. Agnes Medical Center in Philadelphia. As a resident for 2 years, Dr. Feldman became proficient in multiple areas of foot and ankle care including diabetic limb salvage, pediatric disorders as well as foot and ankle reconstruction. In recent years Dr. Feldman has taken an increased interest in sports medicine injuries. He has worked as team physician for a local high school football team and is currently a part time editor for a popular medical journal, The Physician and Sports Medicine.

Dr. Feldman has several publications in peer reviewed journals and books including The Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery, The Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Pediatric Foot and Ankle Surgery as well as The American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine Review Text. He also participates in several residency training programs including working with residents through the Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Feldman is part of a non profit organization known as The Bear Hug Foundation. Through this organization he travels to third world countries, such as El Salvador, to render treatment to large populations without medical care. Dr. Feldman is also an avid athlete. He enjoys golfing, running, basketball and cycling. He is married and has two children.
